The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the restriction recently introduced by the Czech authorities.

According to Maria Zakharova, with its refusal Prague is once again taking an unfriendly step towards Moscow.

The official representative of the department made this statement at the next briefing, RIA Novosti reports.

From July 3, Russian passports without biometrics are considered invalid in the Czech Republic. According to the representative of the Czech Foreign Ministry Mariana Vernerova, documents without a biometric chip are easier to forge.

At the same time, Russian citizens who are currently in the Czech Republic find themselves in a difficult situation, since they are now doing so illegally.

Zakharova noted that with this decision Prague puts at risk not only ordinary Russian citizens, but also employees of Russian diplomatic missions.

And this, in turn, only exacerbates the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.
