The pregnant woman felt contractions and gave birth right on the platform.
The St. Petersburg Metro reported this on its official page on the social network Vkontakte.
It is noted that the incident occurred at 13:19 local time (coincides with Moscow time).
The young pregnant woman was at the Gorkovskaya metro station when she suddenly felt contractions.
Metro employees quickly called an ambulance for her, but the doctors did not arrive in time.
Literally a few minutes after the contractions began, the woman, with the help of those present, gave birth to a boy. The condition of the mother and the baby is stable, they were taken to the hospital.
It is noted that this is already the second case in the history of the St. Petersburg metro. The first child was born here in 2018.
