State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin announced that new laws will come into force in Russia on October 1, 2024.
According to the parliamentarian, the changes will affect many areas of Russian life.
The official Telegram channel of the State Duma reports: “Roskomnadzor will receive the right to block pirate sites.”
In addition, it is indicated that pensions for military retirees will be indexed from October 1.
Other changes
It is reported that the corresponding payments will be indexed by 5.1 percent. Such a measure will affect 2.8 million citizens.
Also, according to Volodin’s assurances, the activities of payment agents will be subject to close supervision and control from the beginning of October.
We are talking about agents through which Russians pay for utilities, mobile payments and other needs.
Volodin emphasized: “These changes are primarily aimed at protecting citizens of the Russian Federation.”
