According to Vilfand, the upcoming long velvet season is indicated by the warmed active layer of the ocean.
He noted that favorable temperatures will start to please people until mid-October. Thermometers at this time will show up to +22 degrees Celsius.
The scientific director also noted that the beginning of September will be velvety - up to +26 degrees Celsius. During this period, hot weather will not bother, the water and air temperature will be comfortable.
It is added that soon the water temperature in the Black Sea will be from +26 to +28 degrees.
