According to Vilfand, the ultraviolet index in the Moscow region will be small for seven days. It will amount to 2-3 conventional units.
He noted that at the specified time people can safely go sunbathing, since they will not suffer from sunburn.
Vilfand also noted that in the south of the Central Federal District the index will be higher, but due to cloudiness some of the ultraviolet radiation will be absorbed.
It is added that a high index is typical for continental mountainous regions and the south of the European part of the Russian Federation.
