Roman Vilfand told what kind of weather is expected in Russia at the end of autumn.
The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center reported that almost all regions of the country are expected to have indicators above the climatic norm.
The last days of November and the beginning of December will be warmer than usual, Interfax reports.
Vilfand cited the Irkutsk region as an example, where temperatures will be 2–4 degrees above normal.
The difference will be especially noticeable in Yakutia and Krasnoyarsk Krai, where the air will warm up 16–20 degrees above normal.
At the same time, the weather forecaster clarified that there will be no positive temperatures.
The atypically high temperature in the Russian Federation is associated with the transfer of air masses from the Atlantic.
These processes will not affect only the southern regions of Western Siberia.
Tomsk, Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions are expecting frosts down to -17°C.
