The public movement has appealed to the competent authorities with a request to recognize producer Andrei Razin as a foreign agent.
Representatives of the Veterans of Russia association sent a corresponding request to the Prosecutor General's Office, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Justice.
Activists are asking law enforcement to check Razin for funding of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, RIA Novosti reports.
The appeal states that the former producer of “Tender May,” who lives in the United States, may be involved in “activities directed against the interests of the Russian Federation.”
In addition, representatives of the movement emphasize that Razin may have “connections with foreign structures” and condemn the special operation.
"Veterans of Russia" believe that these grounds are sufficient to conduct an investigation and recognize the musical figure as a foreign agent.
The movement's representatives also hope that these measures will protect Yuri Shatunov's relatives from possible further legal proceedings with Razin.
