Users who previously linked their accounts to @gmail.com were advised to use a different email address, RIA Novosti reports.
The whole point is that email is used as part of the password recovery procedure.
But recently it became known that Google has introduced restrictions regarding the use of SMS confirmation for creating new accounts.
Representatives of "Gosuslugi" cannot guarantee that this function will not be disabled for already created accounts.
Therefore, experts advise taking care of the security of your account in advance and linking it to a mail service from another company.
It was proposed to replace Gmail with the service @xmail.ru, which belongs to the Russian company VK.
It is emphasized that this mail is already integrated with “Gosuslugi”.
