Married couples who have gone through all family crises together are rewarded by nature.
Doctor of Psychological Sciences Sergei Zinin spoke about this.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti , an expert said that researchers have determined at what age people most often get divorced.
We are talking about a period from 20 to 30 years. The couples in which the partners are over 50 years old experience the least divorces.
But Zinin noted that the key role here is played not by the age of the spouses, but by the duration of the relationship.
The first crisis occurs 3–7 years after the start of life together.
If you manage to survive this period, the next crisis occurs in about 17–25 years.
When couples successfully overcome all difficulties, nature rewards them, the expert emphasized.
The psychologist noted that it was all about endorphins.
This hormone is produced in large quantities when people experience a feeling of lightness, security, satisfaction, and joy.
But only those couples who were able to settle all their grievances and maintain their relationship receive endorphins by nature.
Relationships are “rebooted” and the “fuel” for them is endorphins, which are called a kind of nature’s reward.
