The General Director of PAO Yakovlev Andrey Boginsky and the Managing Director of JSC Tupolev Konstantin Timofeev have been dismissed.
Vadim Badekha, CEO of UAC, has been appointed to manage PJSC Yakovlev. He will also combine the posts of head of UAC and the Yakovlev company, the statement on the UAC website emphasizes.
The management of the activities of JSC Tupolev has been entrusted to Deputy General Director of UAC for State Defense Order and Management of Operational-Tactical Aviation Programs Alexander Bobryshev. It is noted that he will also take the post of Managing Director of the Tupolev company.
The OA service's statement says that the transfer of control will allow the corporation to concentrate all resources on performing specific tasks. Among the top priorities are certification and launch of serial production of civilian airliners.
In early November, it was reported that the leadership of UAC had changed. Vadim Badekha was appointed CEO of the corporation instead of Yuriy Slyusar.
