Two False Healers Detained in Moscow Region for Deceiving a Pensioner

In Podolsk, two women were detained for stealing money and jewelry from an elderly local resident. The details were reported by the Moscow Agency, citing Tatyana Petrova, head of the information and public relations department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region.

It is noted that the woman approached the pensioner and informed her that she had an illness. The false healer started a conversation with the woman, but soon they were joined by a second attacker, who convinced the pensioner that she had been cursed.

According to Petrova, when the pensioner believed the words of the malefactors, she was offered to solve the problem by bringing money and jewelry in a bag to the session. The local resident brought the bag with the contents. After the rituals were performed, it was given back to her.

She noted that when the woman brought the bag home, she soon discovered paper and stones there. The damage amounted to over 1 million rubles.

It is also known that the suspects were soon detained. They turned out to be women aged 37 and 46.

It is added that a criminal case has now been opened. The women are under arrest.
