Triathlete Shabalina treated with antimicrobials after swim in Seine
Triathlete from Kazakhstan Ekaterina Shabalina shared details of her treatment after swimming in the Seine at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The athlete said that her health worsened after returning to Astana, TASS writes.
"Vomiting, fever, chills and taking antimicrobial drugs," Shabalina said of her condition.
The athlete shared that her condition worsened after returning to Astana. She recovered physically and mentally after starting treatment with antimicrobial drugs.
Health problems after swimming in the Seine were found not only in Shabalina.
After the competition on July 31, triathlete from Belgium Claire Michel was hospitalized. The athlete was hospitalized with E. coli.
