It has become known that in Russia they want to fight telephone scammers at the state level.
This was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology and Communications, Andrei Svintsov.
He explained in a conversation with Lenta.ru that an anti-fraud system is being developed in Russia.
He also said that the project involves creating an anti-fraud system jointly with Roskomnadzor.
Svintsov said that if a number makes a massive call, it will be included in all databases.
The parliamentarian stressed that this system should be under the control of Roskomnadzor.
Svintsov added that discussions on this topic are ongoing, but difficulties still remain.
The deputy explained that legislative decisions, if necessary, will be adopted before the end of the year.
According to Svintsov, the implementation of the project is complicated by the absence of a single body in the Russian Federation that resolves such problems.
The deputy also stated that certain restrictive processes may be adopted by autumn.
