State Duma deputy Alexander Tolmachev commented on the recent attempt on Donald Trump's life.
According to the official, this incident provoked a significant gap between Trump and the second candidate for the post of US president, Joe Biden.
Tolmachev explained his opinion as follows: “Biden can’t even climb the stairs without help, while the former head of the White House survived death,” as reported by RIA Novosti .
As the deputy emphasizes, the abovementioned aspects are “incommensurable.”
Assessing the situation
The official also added that at the present moment Trump already has a victory in the media space.
According to Tolmachev, all that remains for the democrats is to apply administrative pressure.
The MP noted: “It’s ironic that a real democracy is trying to take the life of an unwanted competitor.”
