In a conversation with RIA Novosti, Kuznetsov stated that in the event of a divorce, if the father wants it, he should have the right to custody of his son.
The deputy is sure that sons from the age of 8 should receive a male, not female, upbringing.
Kuznetsov explained that only a father can teach one to be responsible, courageous, and a defender of the family and the Motherland.
Maternal upbringing alone will not make the younger generation strong and responsible men, the parliamentarian emphasized.
The deputy added that divorce is an extreme measure. One should always try to save the marriage so that children grow up in complete families.
With his initiative, the State Duma member only wants to achieve equality for men in the context of divorce.
