State Duma deputy from the Kurgan region Alexander Iltyakov gave a comment on the issue of abortions.
He called on women to give birth while the “maternity hospital is still working.”
In an interview with URA.RU , he said that women need to follow nature and not go against the will of the Creator.
Iltyakov believes that a woman who refuses to have children harms not only her health, but also her family.
The deputy also called for instilling spiritual values and responsibility for the future of the country in children from an early age.
The deputy's statement came against the backdrop of initiatives to ban pressure on women to have abortions in some Russian regions.
Senator Sergei Muratov emphasized that a number of circumstances must be taken into account in the issue of abortions.
He believes that in cases of violence or health problems, a woman should not be judged.
Muratov suggested that before making a decision one should always seek support from loved ones or a priest.
