The training season for skiers on Elbrus has come to an end. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Kavkaz.RF development institute and the president of the Kabardino-Balkarian Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding Federation, Khisu Bekkaev.
It is noted that athletes from Russia and friendly countries participated in the training. The number of people who completed the training was over 2 thousand.
According to the press service, training took place at an altitude of 4 thousand meters for 5 hours every day.
It was also noted that special tracks equipped with lifts were used for training.
According to Bekayev, a new training season will begin in October. Active preparations are currently underway.
