Belgorod pensioner Viktor Limonchikov, who was mentioned by President Vladimir Putin, does not consider himself famous.
He said that his words about not being afraid to go to the elections, despite the drones, aroused the interest of the head of state.
During the election campaign, Putin saw on television how a journalist asked Limonchik a question about security at polling stations. To which Limonchik replied: "I am a Russian person," RIA Novosti writes.
This statement attracted Putin's attention, which he spoke about at a meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club.
The pensioner himself believes that he has not become a celebrity.
He added that his relatives and friends supported him. He also knows that Russian President Putin already mentioned his words after the elections.
