A criminal case was opened after the emergency landing of the DOSAAF An-2 aircraft in North Ossetia.

As a result of the hard landing, four people were injured: three adults and one child.

There were 13 people on board, including three children, the Telegram channel of the military investigative bodies of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported on Saturday, August 31.

The department's statement emphasizes that the criminal case was opened for violating the rules of aircraft traffic safety and operation.

The investigation established that the incident occurred during a routine exercise.

After dropping 6 parachutists in the mountainous terrain of North Ossetia, the AN-2 made a hard landing.

As a result of the accident, four people received injuries of varying severity.

The progress of the investigation is being monitored by the Main Military Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
