The Russians injured in the plane crash in Aktau will be transported to Russia on a special flight.

A plane carrying Russians, including one child, took off from Aktau airport to Moscow.

According to the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on its Telegram channel, the department's aviation is evacuating nine people.

The medical flight is being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the Russian President and on the instructions of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In addition, specialists from the department’s psychological service provide psychological assistance to relatives of victims.

According to preliminary data, the crew decided to divert to an alternate airfield in Kazakhstan after the plane collided with birds.

Of the 62 passengers and five crew members on board, only 28 survived the crash.

The victims are in Aktau hospitals. Nine Russians out of 16 on board flew on a special flight to Moscow.
