The new scheme is aimed at people who want to save money.

The essence of the new method of deceiving Russians was outlined by the press service of the Ministry of Health on its Telegram channel.

Fraudsters contact people by phone and convince them to install the “Ministry of Health app.”

They claim that those who have undergone paid medical examinations will receive cashback afterwards.

No one is going to return part of the money spent. The goal is to convince a person to download a malicious program by any means.

After installation, the user is asked to enter bank details supposedly to receive funds.

If a person enters this data, he or she will lose all funds that are on the card.

The Ministry of Health emphasized that the agency does not have any special applications, including for receiving cashback.

Experts recommend not to download programs from unreliable sources to your phone. For example, messages from unknown persons can be such.
