The Ministry of Health reported on the condition of patients with botulism

70 patients with botulism continue to receive medical care in hospitals.

Of these, 17 people are on mechanical ventilation.

Assistant to the Russian Minister of Health Alexei Kuznetsov told journalists about this in a conversation with RIA Novosti .

Those infected with botulism remain in hospitals in Moscow, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Volgograd regions, St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.

Kuznetsov explained that 70 people with botulism have not yet been discharged. Of these, 17 people remain on ventilators.

In June 2024, an outbreak of botulism resulted in about 400 people being hospitalized.

In Moscow alone, 227 people with symptoms of botulism were taken to hospitals.

The capital's bailiffs have suspended the work of several organizations whose products could cause botulism.

Earlier it was reported that the work of “Kitchen on the District” was required to be suspended for 3 months.
