The Office of Rospotrebnadzor in Tatarstan reported that the first six cases of botulism were registered in Kazan on June 17.
Later, the number of those infected reached 20 people, one of whom was treated as an outpatient.
The first people cured of botulism at the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital of Tatarstan have been discharged.
At the moment, there remains one patient with botulism in the intensive care unit at the RKB.
He is under medical supervision around the clock.
