In Rostov Oblast, the storm warning was extended on Wednesday, July 24. TASS reports the details with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for Rostov Oblast.
It is noted that the specified location had been hot for a long time, but precipitation has been falling in the region for the last two days. Due to the rain, some areas seemed flooded, and strong winds caused trees to fall.
According to the press service, flooding and damage to power lines were reported in Rostov-on-Don on July 22.
It was also noted there that, given the expected bad weather, the storm warning was extended. On Wednesday, showers, thunderstorms, strong gusts of wind, and hail are forecast in the region.
