A neurologist spoke about the “silent” symptoms of a stroke that slowly kill a person.
These signs seem almost harmless to a person and do not cause serious concerns, but in fact a dangerous situation is developing.
Neurologist Andrey Galkin spoke with Lenta.ru about the symptoms of a “silent” stroke.
People often associate dizziness, high blood pressure, and temporary memory loss with fatigue or stress.
But these symptoms can be a sign of a stroke, which slowly and imperceptibly “undermines” a person and ultimately leads to death.
In addition, pain in the jaw and temples, uncontrollable convulsions, increased drowsiness, nausea, hiccups, and breathing problems may indicate a dangerous condition.
If a stroke occurs suddenly, it is easier to diagnose. In this case, a person has difficulty smiling, cannot raise his hand, and has problems with speech.
If you have symptoms of a stroke, you should seek help immediately.
The doctor emphasized that a person can only be saved within the first 4 hours.
