Skripal's written testimony in poisoning case revealed in Britain

In the UK, written testimony from former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal in the poisoning case has been released.

Skripal said that after moving to Britain he felt safe and did not try to hide his identity.

He mentioned that he lived on an ordinary street in Salisbury and that his house did not have CCTV.

Skripal refused to have cameras installed so as not to be under constant surveillance.

He also did not hide his address and always registered under his real name when traveling to London.

Skripal said he was not aware of the risks that the intelligence services were assessing to protect him.

According to him, he did not want to live in a closed, protected area, trusting the British authorities.

Sergei Skripal's testimony was read out at a hearing in Salisbury, where the case of his and his daughter's poisoning is being considered.
