Six people who suffered from botulism due to consumption of bean salads remain in hospital in Russian regions. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the assistant to the Russian Minister of Health – Alexey Kuznetsov.
It is noted that the condition of people remains serious. Of the 6 patients, three were connected to ventilators.
According to Kuznetsov, all victims are receiving the necessary assistance. Their condition is being monitored by medical specialists.
The Moscow office of Rospotrebnadzor noted that the patients bought lobio from OOO Lokalkitchen (Kitchen on the District) and salad from OOO Gastroport. After the incident, their sale was suspended.
