The scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, issued a warning about this, as reported by TASS .
The weather forecaster predicts that this applies to at least six regions of the Russian Federation.
Vilfand said that in the Krasnodar region there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms and strong winds.
In Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, and North Ossetia, heavy precipitation and wind gusts of up to 25 meters per second are expected.
The specialist also added that bad weather will hit Stavropol Krai. Rain and strong winds are likely there over the weekend.
In Kalmykia, a sandstorm may form due to drought, and the wind will increase to 25 meters per second.
