In the city of Jehanabad in the state of Bihar in eastern India, seven parishioners were killed in a stampede at a temple, and 35 people were injured to varying degrees of severity.
It is emphasized that the tragic incident was recorded yesterday, August 11, Sunday.
Local authorities explained: “Hundreds of believers came to the ceremony dedicated to the god Shiva,” as reported by TASS .
City Police Inspector Diwakar Kumar Vishwakarma gave a detailed comment regarding the incident.

As Vishwakarma explained, seven bodies were brought to the city pathology department. Three of them were women, four were men.
According to the law enforcement officer, there are concerns that there may be more victims.
The law enforcement official added: "The incident initially occurred due to the lack of proper response from the administration."
Ultimately, force was used to contain the crowd's pressure.
