The expert believes that this popular product is overly demonized.

Technologist Elena Litvinova said that not all sausages are harmful to health.

In a conversation with Gazeta.Ru , she shared that “Doctor’s” sausage, the recipe for which was developed back in the 1930s, can also be beneficial.

According to her, 100 g of this product contains more than 47% of the daily fat requirement. This portion contains as much protein as 1 chicken egg.

That's why Litvinova did not include any sausage in the list of harmful products. She considers this a myth that needs to be dispelled.

Even more useful are carbonated and boiled pork sausages, prepared from meat in accordance with all the rules.

In this case, these products are sources of fats, proteins, as well as macro- and micronutrients.

Modern people should include sausages and meat products in their diet along with other products within reasonable limits.
