He explained that the dollar exchange rate could rise by December. Of course, the ruble is unlikely to collapse, but the difference could be significant.
Inflation expectations are still high, so there are no grounds for strengthening the national currency today, the expert emphasized.
Therefore, Russians planning to travel abroad in December are already buying dollars.
At the same time, it is expected that the Central Bank may raise the key rate at the end of December. Today, it is already 21%.
Analysts believe the regulator may raise it to 23% at its next meeting.
