Fraudsters have begun to implement a new fraudulent scheme under the guise of "Russian Post".

The warning was published on the company's Telegram channel.

Fraudsters contact potential victims by phone and ask them to dictate a code from an SMS message.

This is supposedly necessary for registering or delivery. In fact, with the help of this code, fraudsters get access to personal or bank data of Russians.

The scheme is quite primitive, but it often works, so representatives of Russian Post called on Russians to remain vigilant.

They reminded that the company does not request codes from SMS. If they call and ask to dictate a code, then these are scammers, emphasized the Russian Post.

Using this code, scammers can gain access to “Gosuslugi” or other services.
