Carolina goalie Petr Kochetkov spoke about his relationship with Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin.
He admitted that he says a lot of bad words to him after scoring goals.
The goalkeeper said that all Russians do this and it has never been a problem, RMNB reports.
Kochetkov explained that Ovechkin likes to joke, and every time he says a lot of nasty things, that he will score a goal – and he does.
All Russians do it, and it’s not a problem,” the goalkeeper added.
This is not the first time the Russian goalie has faced “bad words” during a game with Washington.
Thus, Ilya Samsonov, in a game for the Toronto Maple Leafs against his old club, reported that he heard something similar from his old teammates.
