A citizen of Udmurtia missed his flight to Venezuela due to a plane delay.
A resident of the city of Sarapul filed a lawsuit against the airline, but the court refused to satisfy his request.
Information about the corresponding claim was posted on the Telegram channel of the united press service of the courts of Udmurtia.
According to the court system, the plaintiff bought a ticket to Venezuela for 150 thousand rubles. The flight to Margarita Island was to be from Moscow.
The man had to get to the capital on his own, and he chose a flight from PAO Aeroflot. The Izhevsk-Moscow flight was delayed by 7 hours 14 minutes, which forced the man to cancel his ticket.
As a result, he was unable to get on a plane to Venezuela and decided to sue for the cost of the trip, as well as 300 thousand in moral damages.
The court, having studied all the circumstances of the case, rejected the man's claim. The court concluded that the tourist himself connected two flights and, therefore, PAO Aeroflot is not responsible for his being late for another flight.
