Hundreds of Russian children have vacationed in a North Korean camp for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Details are reported on the Telegram channel “RT in Russian”.
280 Russian children went to North Korea. They vacationed in a camp called "Sondovon" in the city of Wonsan on the shore of the East (Japanese) Sea.
The camp grounds include an oceanarium, a water park, a stadium, attractions and a computer club.
RT TV channel shared a comment from 12-year-old Timur, who said that he and other kids attended clubs, mastered taekwondo techniques, learned the Korean language and went on an excursion to the capital of the DPRK, the city of Pyongyang.
It is noted that this was the first trip after the coronavirus pandemic. A new group of children will go to North Korea on August 19.
The first group left for the DPRK on July 22. The guys from different Russian regions went to Songdowon.
