An experiment concerning the reliability of the origin of goods will be conducted in Russia.
It is planned that from December 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, the receipt of digital codes by enterprises passing off other people's products as their own will be blocked.
TASS reported this with reference to the corresponding document, which the agency has at its disposal.
It is noted that clothing and footwear manufacturers will participate in the experiment. They are involved on a voluntary basis.
During the experiment, the Center for the Development of Advanced Technologies intends to check whether the production of certain goods corresponds to the digital marking codes received by companies.
If this information is not confirmed during the experiment, then the CRPT will resort to restrictive measures, in particular, it will limit the issuance of digital codes and report the violation to the control authorities.
