Russia Starts Six-Day Workweek

In Russia, a six-day work week begins on October 28.

It will last until November 2, and Saturday will be a working day, but a shortened one.

This year's holiday was moved to April 30 next year.

Due to the National Unity Day holiday, Russians will have holidays on November 3 and 4.

In November 2024, there will be 21 working days and 9 days off. In the new year, Russians will be able to rest from April 28 to May 1.

National Unity Day in Russia is celebrated on November 4.

This holiday is associated with the events of 1612, when the people's militia liberated Moscow from the Polish invaders.

It also marks the end of the Time of Troubles for Russians in the 17th century.
