The decision was made after appeals from citizens. Russians complain about the quality of services received.
The website of the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports that the agency will check the observance of consumer rights in the sphere of consumer services.
Mass inspections will affect a number of organizations: studios, hairdressers, dry cleaners, canteens.
Particular attention will be paid to public baths. The supervisory authority will carefully inspect those facilities that are located in small towns.
It is from there that complaints come from Russians about the high cost and quality of services.
The organizations will also check compliance with fire safety regulations and competition protection laws.
If any violations are identified, comprehensive measures will be taken, the Prosecutor General’s Office emphasized.
