Rospotrebnadzor has issued a warning to Russians.
There is an increase in community-acquired pneumonia in the country.
RIA Novosti was informed of this by the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.
As noted by the department's specialists, there is a tendency towards an increase in the number of cases of community-acquired pneumonia in the autumn of 2024. Outbreaks of the disease are recorded in children's groups.
According to Rospotrebnadzor, the causative agent of the disease is mycoplasma.
It is noted that the department's specialists had foreseen such a scenario in advance. Therefore, a set of measures was introduced that will not allow the current situation to become more complicated.
Rospotrebnadzor reassured that the situation was under the control of medical services, and therefore additional measures were introduced.
In particular, it was decided to strengthen control over the condition of children. The department instructed educational institutions to monitor the condition of students in order to detect symptoms of colds in a timely manner.
