It has become known that a new law has been signed concerning unused time off.
Now, when leaving work, Russians can count on compensation for time off.
The text of the relevant document was published on the website of the official publication of legal acts.
The new bill clarifies the system of compensation for unused time off.
Now, according to the amendment to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, employees can use an additional day off within one year from the moment they worked on a weekend or holiday.
This time off can also be added to the main part of the work leave, if desired.
As for citizens who quit their jobs, unused time off must be paid by the employer.
In particular, an employee may claim payment of the difference between the wages paid on a day off or holiday and the work actually performed on that day.
In this case, payment must be made for each day that the employee spent at work on Sunday.
