Russian President Vladimir Putin has allowed Russians to check into hotels with the driver's licenses they present.
It is emphasized that the head of state voiced the corresponding instruction to the cabinet of ministers.
In particular, Vladimir Vladimirovich announced: “Ensure check-in for Russian citizens in hotels with a driver’s license from July 1, 2025,” as reported on the official Kremlin website.
The President of the country announced the corresponding list of instructions during his meeting with members of the Russian government.

It is reported that the head of state also set a deadline for the report on the specified order.
The ministers undertake to submit the above-mentioned document by 1 September 2024.
The cabinet will then have to present a report again in six months.
The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, has been appointed responsible for this issue.
