Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a bill allowing bailiffs to use weapons.

In addition, the decree gives bailiffs the ability to use physical force, as reported by the regulatory legal act itself, posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts .
It is emphasized that the weapons of the FSSP employees include pepper spray, stun guns, rubber truncheons and handcuffs.
Details of the bill
The text of the document states: “The bailiff must report any cases of use of weapons or physical force to the senior bailiff.”
The FSSP employee will also be required to write a report on the said incident.
In the event that the person against whom force was used was injured or died, this information must be communicated to the relatives of the victim and to the prosecutor.
The bailiff is obliged to keep the scene of the incident untouched if possible.
