Most often, cats are acquired by people who love solitude, suffer from anxiety and emotional instability. The Moscow Agency reports details with reference to the head of the general psychology department at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis, associate professor Ivan Khvatov.
It is noted that as a result of research it became known that cat owners are most often introverted people with a small social circle and a tendency towards solitude.
According to Khvatov, cat owners often suffer from anxiety, restlessness, and excitability.
He noted that communicating with cats helps to calm down.
