This opinion was expressed by the head of the “People’s Front. Analytics” department of the All-Russian People’s Front, Olga Pozdnyakova, URA.RU reports.
She noted that many initiatives aimed at stimulating the birth rate in the Russian Federation are addressed to women.
But, according to her, “women are already ready to give birth.”
Pozdnyakova believes that it is also necessary to work with men in this direction.
She noted that frequent divorces and open statements about them have become socially acceptable in the public sphere.
As an example, she cited show business stars and athletes who “openly broadcast their anti-family position.”
She also pointed out that there are 1.5 million alimony debtors in the Russian Federation, which also says a lot.
On the movie screen, Pozdnyakova believes, the “wrong image of the head of the family” is also created.
She is confident that in order to successfully resolve the demographic issue, initiatives should be developed that will concern men, and not just women.
