The exhibition "Novgorod Porcelain: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" will take place in Novgorod. Details are reported by TASS with reference to the chief methodologist for exhibition activities, Alexander Stepanov.
The exhibition will be held in the exhibition hall of the Novgorod Regional House of Folk Art.
It is noted that the exhibition includes over 300 items. Among them are historical exhibits.
According to Stepanov, the opening of the exhibition took place within the framework of the project "Porcelain Lacemaker of Russia" with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
He noted that thanks to the project, an enterprise for the production of Novgorod artistic porcelain appeared. Its goal is to develop the cultural heritage of porcelain manufacturing enterprises that stopped their work.
It is added that the direction of the new exhibition items is the theme of the Novgorod land and Veliky Novgorod. The items are created by hand.
The exhibition will delight citizens until September 10.
