On September 6, voting began in gubernatorial elections in some regions of the Russian Federation, as well as elections to local government bodies.
Residents of the Northwestern, Central, Southern and North Caucasian federal districts can vote within three days.
RIA Novosti shared this information. The agency listed the polling stations and regions where the election campaign will be held over the next three days.
Thus, residents can cast their vote:
- Stavropol region;
- Vologda, Kursk, Volgograd, Tula and Lipetsk regions;
- St. Petersburg and Leningrad region.
Starting tomorrow, Murmansk Oblast will join them, where anyone who is a member of the electorate will also be able to vote for the nominated candidates.
For the first time, similar to the previous Russian presidential elections, voting will last three days: from September 6 to 8.
It is noted that voters in a number of regions were given the opportunity to cast their votes remotely. This applies to Lipetsk, Kursk and Vologda regions.
