Another Russian region is introducing financial penalties for inciting abortion.
This decision was made by the deputies of the Oryol region.
The bill was approved in the second reading, RIA Novosti reports.
The document notes that persuasion, requests, offers, bribery, deception, persuasion and making demands are considered to be inducements to have an abortion.
The culprits will be held administratively liable.
Thus, a fine of 3-5 thousand rubles will be introduced for individuals, and up to 50 thousand rubles for officials.
The largest financial penalty is provided for legal entities. In this case, the court may impose a fine of 100-200 thousand rubles.
Russian regions are gradually introducing similar fines.
Before Oryol Oblast, similar decisions were made in Novgorod, Pskov and Vologda Oblasts, as well as Primorsky and Zabaikalsky Krai.
