New details have become known about the Neuralink implants that Elon Musk's company is working with.
It turns out that the second person is already living with a device that improves the quality of life of people with disabilities.
Elon Musk shared this news during a podcast with YouTube blogger Lex Fridman.
In an interview, the businessman expressed hope that the second implant transplanted to the person would take root normally.
As the head of Tesla noted, he does not want to jinx it, but hopes that the device will take root in the wearer's body. Currently, about 400 electrodes are successfully working in the human brain.
The first implant of this type was given to a man named Nolan Arbaugh, who was paralyzed in an accident.
The latter noted that after the operation in his brain only about 15% of all the electrodes there were working. Nevertheless, the patient noted that even with such success, the effectiveness of the device installed in his brain only continues to grow.
