Deputy Svetlana Bessarab explained why migrants should not be prohibited from moving to the Russian Federation together with their relatives.
A member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs believes that such an approach can only cause harm.
Bessarab identified several criteria when a labor migrant can move to the Russian Federation with his family, writes Lenta.ru .
If a person strives to obtain a residence permit in Russia, complies with all laws and does his job well, then in this case there are no obstacles to the relocation of relatives, the parliamentarian believes.
Bessarab emphasized that today the Russian Federation lacks not only highly qualified specialists.
Not every Russian takes on low-skilled work, the parliamentarian noted. Sometimes migrants help fill the gaps in these areas.
As for those foreigners who break the law, a number of regulatory and legal acts have been developed for them, Bessarab recalled.
In some cases, the state may even deprive you of acquired citizenship.
New restriction for migrants
LDPR deputies previously proposed banning foreign citizens coming to work in the Russian Federation from bringing their families with them.
This applies to those who arrive in the country on the basis of an employment contract or patent.
Parliamentarians plan to submit a corresponding bill for discussion.
