The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin dismissed Pyotr Ivanov from the post of Deputy Head of the FAS.
It is reported that Mishustin thus fulfilled Ivanov’s personal request.
The corresponding order was published on the official portal of the Cabinet of Ministers’ documentation, as reported by RIA Novosti .
The order is dated August 29, 2024. It reads: "Release Petr Valerievich Ivanov from his position at his request."
Dismissal from office
Ivanov took up the post of Deputy Head of the FAS in January 2021.
The official's direct responsibilities included coordinating the work of the department for monitoring the placement of government orders.
In addition, the now former official was in charge of the regulation of transport vehicles, communications and information technology.
Previously, Petr Ivanov held the post of General Director of the Federal Passenger Company of the Russian Federation.
